Hello Wanderers!
Note of the day, don’t drink if you’re going to trek or climb the mountains early morning. They woke me up at 4:20 AM and yes I have hangover. And when I have hangover I take a bath for make me feel refreshed.
Yesterday, we went to Sumaguing Cave and Echo Valley Hanging Coffins in the first blog post “Sagada Part 1” here’s the link (https://whereshewanders.travel.blog/2019/09/24/sagada/).
Today, we embarked ourselves to climb Marlboro Hills and Blue Soil. Photos will be provided below. Please see them.
Upon reaching the sunrise viewing spot, there are vendors there selling water, juice, softdrinks, ‘lugaw’, cup noodles, and more.

Since it is cold, tourists needs to heat themselves up for a food. So, I bought Cup Noodles since I have hangover, then eat it while walking though it got cold after a few minutes (yeah sad ☹️).

Without further ado, we still continue to trek to reach the Blue Soils and enjoy the nature.

Then we finally reached the Blue Soils, as you walk you’ll know when you are near if you already noticed that there is a blue soil or rocks on your steps.

Tbh, it was a long trek. From 4:30 to 9:30 AM (5 hours) we’re just walking. And as we walk, I noticed that it was getting hot since the sun rises and removed my jacket.
Though there are 3 stops along the way to rest and buy drinks and food. The first stop is the one I mentioned above, the second stop is in the middle of the trek below the hill where there is a best seller hot and fresh from the oil ‘lumpiang gulay’, and the last stop where I thought it’s the pick up area because they are selling souvenirs already, but there is another trek to go.
As we reached the pick up area, we pleaded Kuya Alwin to let us, kids, stay on top of the L300.

After driving for a few minutes, Kuya Alwin stopped the car to let us go down because we will get caught if we were left on top. As we reached Big Dipper to have breakfast, we also took a bath since we will check out around lunch.
Thank you Big Dipper for the nice accommodation and staffs for being friendly to have a good night stay and jam. Till next time!

After checking out, we went ahead to our last itinerary before going back to the Metro which is the Sagada Pottery, where the movie “Glorious” has taken place.
The locals there sells their own made bread and yogurt (in 2 flavors: Blueberry and Strawberry) which is so yummy 👌🏻. The yogurts is cheap which made me think that it should be expensive since it is organic and delicious.

It was a great weekend, Sagada. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Till next travel, wanderers! 💋
